About me

Anyone reading this might want to know different things so a few quick highlights:

I believe in squeezing out as much joy from life as possible and am generally considered to be a very positive person … with notable exceptions if cold or hungry when I am very grumpy!

I have loads of hobbies. At the time of writing these are playing the Ukulele, Running, Nia dance, Pottery, Hiit Circuits, Yoga - most of which I aim to do every week. I’m fit and healthy and enjoy inspiring clients / blog-readers and friends to look after their bodies more.

I am a huge believer in the importance of self-care and associated with this work / life / fun balance.

I’ve been married for years and we have two children.

In 2016 I moved out of London to a village on the Surrey / Hampshire border, next to a forest. I try to visit the forest most days and love Nature, the environment, our planet.  I am passionate about protecting the environment as much as possible.

I’ve been a mostly plant-based eater for over 5 years because I fully believe it is better for long-term health. I was 37 when I had my second child so if she has a child at the same age I’ll be a 74 year old new Granny … I want to be fit and active enough to play then and believe a plant-based diet offers the best hope for that, as well as giving me loads of energy and minimal illness in the meantime.

In 2019 I began to fully appreciate the impact of food production on our planet and consequently, together with my Husband, chose to adopt a fully Vegan diet & lifestyle to help the environment and be more ‘out’ about it.

We also accidentally gave up drinking alcohol but that’s a whole other story which I have written about on the blogs page.

I used to have a ‘proper’ job in an office as a Qualified Actuary & after that as a Recruitment Consultant for Actuaries. Then I was a full-time mum for 3 years before retraining when my youngest was 1 year old.  I’ve been coaching for over 10 years.

I believe Coaching can have a hugely beneficial impact on both Individuals and Couples.

I am very qualified in the Coaching world and have100s of hours of experience.  I initially trained with the internationally renowned Coaches Training Institute (CTI) in 2009 and added to this with Certification in 2011.  In 2012 I enhanced my skills further as a Relationship Coach and trained with the Centre for Right Relationships Global (CRR Global) in ORSC (Organisation and Relationship Systems Coaching).  I am passionate about helping people to have better relationships.  In 2015 I took further advanced training as a Relationship Coach with CRR Global and am a Certified Relationship Coach, ORSCC for short.  I continually enhance my skills and training by attending a wide variety of workshops and talks.  My aim is to the best coach I possibly can be for my clients and I just find all this 'stuff' fascinating.

I don’t ‘need’ to work but I find coaching clients incredibly fulfilling and get a lot from it myself. I also enjoy writing blogs which people often tell me are helpful.  I write about relationship tips, life tips, self-care, going through the peri-menopause .. in fact anything that rumbles in my head until I finally write about it.
