CHANGE 128

If you feel you need to have a difficult conversation with someone (spouse, boss, work colleague etc) then before launching in take the time to get clear on what you really want to achieve. If you just want to dump all your anger / frustration you’ll probably find you achieve nothing – it might feel good in that moment but it won’t help the relationship move forward. If you want an apology try speaking about how you feel eg ‘I feel quite hurt and rejected that you didn’t invite me’. If you want things to improve in the future then own up to your part in what went wrong & come from a place of ‘how can we improve this?’.
